Hi there! My name is Ashley and I am a recent Bachelor of Architecture Graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I am an aspiring and passionate designer looking to make an impact with my work.
My skill set includes knowledge of several programs including: Rhinoceros 6, V-Ray, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, the basics of Revit, zBrush and Maya. I also have experience and knowledge with hand drafting and drawing as well as in color theory, screenprinting and fundamentals of design and construction.

Through my education I have the experience of designing and working with several types of spaces including small and large scale housing, public and commercial spaces through various media and detail including digital and physical modeling, rendering, design schematics and development, videography, crocheting, fashion, and graphic manipulation.

Through architectural internships at Wallant Architecture in Albany, NY, I have had the opportunity to contribute to and draft for both residential and commercial projects as well as gain valuable office experience, working with budgets, meeting with clients and visiting and measuring sites.
The built environment impacts everything. It impacts those who inhabit it as well as the world around it. Architecture should be designed to both enhance and better both, making a positive impact all around.
Architecture is an art form. It is a way of expression through planning, drawing, building, etc. Art and architecture go hand in hand with one another, fueling creative designs, solutions and outlets.
My own personal interests include drawing, reading graphic novels and comics, playing soccer, sewing, crocheting and other crafts. I'm always trying to find a way to incorporate design into my life and look at things differently.
